Egress Press & Research
Egress Press & Research is a fine art publishing component of the printmaking program at PennWest University Edinboro . Founded in 1998, the press has hosted numerous nationally-known printmakers who have shared their skill, knowledge, and life experiences with PennWest University students and community members. Visiting artists normally spend four days on campus creating blocks, plates, or screens and a proof-ready-to-print. After artists leave, faculty and student printers create a print edition that is shared between the artist and the press.
